If you are in the Lucern area a trip to the Hotel Schlussel in Beckenried is a must. You will be greeted with an old world style of warmth and hospitality by hosts, Gabrielle and Dani Aschwanden-Huber. It is hard to express the attention to detail managed by the hosts and their staff. My recent visit there was one of many and with each the experience memorable and satisfying in every respect. If a weekend retreat is what you are looking for you’ll discover the uniqueness of every room charming and comfortable in ways you can’t imagine. There are no menus but rest assured the food is prepared in a way that every need by patrons is met by the chef. Wine is paired with each course and service is perfectly timed for a complete and satisfying dining experience. Views of Lake Lucern are magnificent from every room and if it’s your first visit to the area helpful tips for sightseeing and outdoor activities are available.
